1. Who we are

EvenStep Orthotics, operating evensteporthotics.com; the legal entity and its status are stated in the terms of sale. Contact: care@evensteporthotics.com.

2. What we collect

• Order information: name, shipping address, email, phone, the products and sizes you chose, and your payment status. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe); we never see or store full card numbers.
• Your impression: the physical foam impression you mail us and the digital model we make from it. We keep both so you can reorder without a new kit. Ask and we delete them.
• Quiz answers: stored in your own browser for 90 days so the result page and product pages can use them. They reach us only if you order or give us your email.
• Messages: emails and chat-assistant transcripts you send us, kept to handle your order and improve answers. Assistant transcripts are kept for 30 days, then deleted; do not share medical records or card numbers in the chat.
• Site usage: only with your consent (see section 4). Essential cookies for the store itself do not track you across sites.

3. Why we use it

To make and deliver your orthotics, to answer you, to honor the guarantee, to send order emails, and — if you opt in — to send occasional product emails and measure our advertising. We do not sell personal information and we do not share health-related details with advertisers.

4. Cookies, analytics and consent

The store uses essential cookies to work. Analytics and advertising pixels load only after you choose "Allow analytics" in the banner; "Essential only" keeps them off. Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal are handled as "Essential only" automatically, with no banner. You can change your choice by clearing site data for this domain. Where we do use advertising measurement, personal details sent to those platforms are hashed before they leave our servers, and first-touch attribution is kept for 90 days.

5. Who else sees it

Our payment processor (Stripe), our shipping carriers, our email provider, our customer-relationship system, and our manufacturing workshop, each receiving only what it needs to do its part. Each is bound by contract to use the data only for that purpose.

6. Your choices

Email us to see, correct or delete your information, to delete your stored impression, or to unsubscribe from anything non-essential. Order records required by tax law are kept for the period the law requires. We respond within 30 days.

7. Children

EvenStep is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will note the date here and, for customers, email a summary.
