Walking & hiking
Arch support, a steady heel and cushion for miles of pavement or trail — shaped from your impression for walking shoes and hiking boots.

A stable base for the swing and cushion for six miles of walking — shaped from your impression for the golf shoe.
Designed for
Golf is two sports for the foot: a violent weight shift on a fixed base a hundred times a round, and six miles of walking between them. A wobbly base costs consistency; the miles cost the forefoot.
This design gives the swing a stable heel and a supported arch shaped from your impression, and gives the walk a cushioned forefoot. The medium shell fits spiked and spikeless golf shoes alike.
Medium shell, stable heel cup, cushioned forefoot, smooth top cover; full length trimmed to golf-shoe lasts.
From your kitchen table to our bench
Everything happens at home except the making. Milled and finished by hand in our New York workshop, from domestic and imported materials.
Where it hurts, what you do all day, which shoes. We match one of 25 designs to you — no diagnosis, just a fit plan.
A foam impression kit ships within 1 business day of your order. Press each foot into the foam, close the box and send it back. Five minutes, no appointment; shipping is free both ways.
Your impression is checked the day it lands — that is the day your delivery clock starts. A technician contours arch, heel and forefoot to your foot; the shell is milled to that contour, finished and checked against your impression.
Under 10 business days from the day we receive your impression, tracked the whole way. Counted in business days from the day your impression arrives at our workshop. Slide them in, lace up, walk. 180 days to decide.

A stable heel and a supported arch give the weight shift a steadier base — many golfers describe it as feeling planted at address and through impact. It does not change the mechanics you have built; it removes wobble under them.
Less of it, but the standing, the range and the practice green add up. The design works either way; walkers notice the forefoot cushion most.
Both. Golf shoes have a removable insole and reasonable depth; pull it out and this sits flat.
Your orthotics are shaped from an impression of your own feet, not a size chart, and the shell is set to your weight band. We confirm the length from the impression and trim the pair to the shoe type you told us about. If anything is off, a remake is free inside the 180-day guarantee.
A shelf insole is one of three or four shapes chosen to fit millions of feet; it cushions but it cannot hold a heel or contour an arch that isn't its own. A custom orthotic is shaped from an impression of your foot, so the heel cup, arch profile and forefoot relief are yours. If a shelf insole has already solved your problem, keep it — we say so in our guides.
Full-length designs fit sneakers, walking and running shoes, work boots and most lace-ups; remove the shoe's own insole and slide ours in, trimming along the guide if needed. The three-quarter design is for dress shoes and flats where there is no room for a full insole. Each pair is shaped for one shoe type, which is why a second pair for a different shoe is $139.
