Plantar fasciitis
A deep heel cup, a firm arch contour and a soft heel pad — designed to offload the plantar fascia from the first step of the day.

By condition · custom orthotics
The deepest heel cup we make, with a cushioned well under the heel bone — for heel spurs, bruised heels and long days on concrete.
Designed for
Not all heel pain is plantar fasciitis. A heel spur, a bruised heel fat pad from concrete floors, or a heel that simply takes too much impact all shift hurts under and around the heel bone through the day. What those have in common is a heel that needs to be held and cushioned.
This design has the deepest heel cup in our range. It holds the heel bone and keeps its natural fat pad underneath it, and the bottom of the cup is a cushioned well so impact lands on foam rather than shell. Arch support from your impression takes some of the load off the heel in the first place.
Medium shell, deep cup with a cushioned heel well, full length, durable top cover; trims along the guide. Built with work boots and long shifts in mind.
From your kitchen table to our bench
Everything happens at home except the making. Milled and finished by hand in our New York workshop, from domestic and imported materials.
Where it hurts, what you do all day, which shoes. We match one of 25 designs to you — no diagnosis, just a fit plan.
A foam impression kit ships within 1 business day of your order. Press each foot into the foam, close the box and send it back. Five minutes, no appointment; shipping is free both ways.
Your impression is checked the day it lands — that is the day your delivery clock starts. A technician contours arch, heel and forefoot to your foot; the shell is milled to that contour, finished and checked against your impression.
Under 10 business days from the day we receive your impression, tracked the whole way. Counted in business days from the day your impression arrives at our workshop. Slide them in, lace up, walk. 180 days to decide.

Plantar fasciitis is the choice when the pain is sharpest on the first steps and runs into the arch. Heel pain is for pain that sits under or around the heel bone all day, or a heel spur, or a bruised heel from standing on concrete.
Rarely. Most spurs are painless bystanders seen on X-ray; when a heel hurts, it is usually the soft tissue around it. Offloading the heel and stretching the calf is the usual first plan. A clinician should look at any heel pain that is severe or came on suddenly.
Yes. Pull the boot's own insole out and slide this one in. The heel cup is deep and the boot has the volume for it.
Your orthotics are shaped from an impression of your own feet, not a size chart, and the shell is set to your weight band. We confirm the length from the impression and trim the pair to the shoe type you told us about. If anything is off, a remake is free inside the 180-day guarantee.
A shelf insole is one of three or four shapes chosen to fit millions of feet; it cushions but it cannot hold a heel or contour an arch that isn't its own. A custom orthotic is shaped from an impression of your foot, so the heel cup, arch profile and forefoot relief are yours. If a shelf insole has already solved your problem, keep it — we say so in our guides.
Full-length designs fit sneakers, walking and running shoes, work boots and most lace-ups; remove the shoe's own insole and slide ours in, trimming along the guide if needed. The three-quarter design is for dress shoes and flats where there is no room for a full insole. Each pair is shaped for one shoe type, which is why a second pair for a different shoe is $139.
