On my feet all day (women's)
The long-shift design proportioned for women's footwear: deep heel cup, firm arch, durable top cover — for the shoes you stand in all day.

Everyday & work · custom orthotics
Built for 4+ hours standing or walking at work: a deep heel cup, a firm arch and a durable top cover for concrete, tile and twelve-hour shifts.
Designed for
The foot that stands or walks all shift is not injured; it is tired of holding itself up. By the second half of the day the arch has dropped a little, the heel fat pad has spread, and every step on concrete or tile is landing on less than it did at seven in the morning.
This design is built to do the holding. A deep heel cup keeps the heel and its fat pad together through the shift; a firm arch shaped from your impression carries the load so the small muscles of the foot do not have to; the forefoot is cushioned for hard floors and the top cover is durable and low-friction for long, hot days.
Firm shell, deep heel cup, forefoot cushion, hard-wearing top cover; full length; trims along the guide. Fits work sneakers, nursing shoes and most boots with a removable insole.
From your kitchen table to our bench
Everything happens at home except the making. Milled and finished by hand in our New York workshop, from domestic and imported materials.
Where it hurts, what you do all day, which shoes. We match one of 25 designs to you — no diagnosis, just a fit plan.
A foam impression kit ships within 1 business day of your order. Press each foot into the foam, close the box and send it back. Five minutes, no appointment; shipping is free both ways.
Your impression is checked the day it lands — that is the day your delivery clock starts. A technician contours arch, heel and forefoot to your foot; the shell is milled to that contour, finished and checked against your impression.
Under 10 business days from the day we receive your impression, tracked the whole way. Counted in business days from the day your impression arrives at our workshop. Slide them in, lace up, walk. 180 days to decide.

Nurses and aides, teachers, retail and warehouse floors, kitchens, hair and dental chairs, security, trades on hard floors — anyone who is up four hours or more at a stretch.
Firm is the shell, not the surface. The shell holds the arch and heel so they are not doing the holding for twelve hours; the top cover and forefoot cushion are what your foot feels.
The women's version is proportioned for women's footwear and sizing. Same design, same firmness; choose it if you buy women's shoes.
Your orthotics are shaped from an impression of your own feet, not a size chart, and the shell is set to your weight band. We confirm the length from the impression and trim the pair to the shoe type you told us about. If anything is off, a remake is free inside the 180-day guarantee.
A shelf insole is one of three or four shapes chosen to fit millions of feet; it cushions but it cannot hold a heel or contour an arch that isn't its own. A custom orthotic is shaped from an impression of your foot, so the heel cup, arch profile and forefoot relief are yours. If a shelf insole has already solved your problem, keep it — we say so in our guides.
Full-length designs fit sneakers, walking and running shoes, work boots and most lace-ups; remove the shoe's own insole and slide ours in, trimming along the guide if needed. The three-quarter design is for dress shoes and flats where there is no room for a full insole. Each pair is shaped for one shoe type, which is why a second pair for a different shoe is $139.
