Support that fits inside a cleat
A soccer cleat is cut tight and thin on purpose — you want to feel the ball. Most orthotics will not go in, and the ones that do lift the heel out. Meanwhile ninety minutes of stop-start on firm ground, with studs pressing up through a thin plate, is hard on heels and arches.
This design is slim. The shell is low-profile and firm enough to control the heel and carry the arch from your impression; the forefoot is thin so ball feel is unchanged; the whole thing is trimmed to cleat lasts. It goes in where others do not.

FAQ
Questions about the soccer pair
Still unsure? Write to care@evensteporthotics.com — a person answers.
Will these fit in my cleats?
That is what they are shaped for. Remove the cleat's thin sockliner; the profile is low and the forefoot is thin. If your cleats are a snug fit already, mention it and we trim tighter.
Firm ground or turf?
The design is the same. Firm-ground studs press up into the heel more, which the heel cup spreads; turf shoes have more volume, so the fit is easier.
Can I use these for football?
Football cleats have more volume and the game is more about planting and driving; the football design is thicker and firmer. This one is about fit and feel in a slim boot.
How do I know they will fit?
Your orthotics are shaped from an impression of your own feet, not a size chart, and the shell is set to your weight band. We confirm the length from the impression and trim the pair to the shoe type you told us about. If anything is off, a remake is free inside the 180-day guarantee.
What's different from a shelf insole?
A shelf insole is one of three or four shapes chosen to fit millions of feet; it cushions but it cannot hold a heel or contour an arch that isn't its own. A custom orthotic is shaped from an impression of your foot, so the heel cup, arch profile and forefoot relief are yours. If a shelf insole has already solved your problem, keep it — we say so in our guides.
Which shoes will these fit?
Full-length designs fit sneakers, walking and running shoes, work boots and most lace-ups; remove the shoe's own insole and slide ours in, trimming along the guide if needed. The three-quarter design is for dress shoes and flats where there is no room for a full insole. Each pair is shaped for one shoe type, which is why a second pair for a different shoe is $139.
