Designed for
Who this pair is for
For the plant and the drive
Football asks the foot to plant hard and drive, to land after contact and to do it on turf that gives nothing back. The heel takes the plants, the arch takes the drive, and the whole foot takes the turf.
This design is built firm and deep. The shell holds when you plant; the heel cup is deep to steady the foot on landings and against hits; a shock layer sits over the shell for turf; and the arch is shaped from your impression. The profile uses the volume a football cleat gives it.

FAQ
Questions about the football pair
Still unsure? Write to care@evensteporthotics.com — a person answers.
Football or soccer design?
Football — the cleat has more volume and the game is planting and driving, so this shell is thicker and firmer with a shock layer. Soccer is slim for ball feel.
Will these fit under my cleat's sockliner?
Replace it, don't stack. Pull the sockliner out and slide this in; the profile is shaped for football-cleat volume.
I play on turf. Anything different?
Turf is hard and hot. The shock layer is for exactly that, and the top cover is low-friction for long, sweaty practices.
How do I know they will fit?
Your orthotics are shaped from an impression of your own feet, not a size chart, and the shell is set to your weight band. We confirm the length from the impression and trim the pair to the shoe type you told us about. If anything is off, a remake is free inside the 180-day guarantee.
What's different from a shelf insole?
A shelf insole is one of three or four shapes chosen to fit millions of feet; it cushions but it cannot hold a heel or contour an arch that isn't its own. A custom orthotic is shaped from an impression of your foot, so the heel cup, arch profile and forefoot relief are yours. If a shelf insole has already solved your problem, keep it — we say so in our guides.
Which shoes will these fit?
Full-length designs fit sneakers, walking and running shoes, work boots and most lace-ups; remove the shoe's own insole and slide ours in, trimming along the guide if needed. The three-quarter design is for dress shoes and flats where there is no room for a full insole. Each pair is shaped for one shoe type, which is why a second pair for a different shoe is $139.
