Overpronation
A medial heel post and firm arch to slow the inward roll — for the ankle that collapses in and the knee that feels it.

By condition · custom orthotics
Full-length arch support and a stable heel cup, shaped from your impression — for the arch that flattens the moment you stand.
Designed for
A flexible flat foot has an arch when it is off the ground and loses it under load. The foot rolls inward, the inside of the ankle stretches and the leg rotates a little — and by the end of a long day the arch, the inside ankle and sometimes the inside knee ache. Shoes with a soft heel and no support let all of that happen freely.
This design supports the arch along its whole length and seats the heel in a stable cup so the roll is smaller and slower. Because the shape is shaped from your impression, the support meets your arch where it actually is; a shelf insole with a “medium” arch either misses it or digs in.
Firm shell for most weight bands, medium for lighter people; full length with a smooth top cover; trims along the guide. Both feet are made from their own footprint, which matters — flat feet are rarely symmetrical.
From your kitchen table to our bench
Everything happens at home except the making. Milled and finished by hand in our New York workshop, from domestic and imported materials.
Where it hurts, what you do all day, which shoes. We match one of 25 designs to you — no diagnosis, just a fit plan.
A foam impression kit ships within 1 business day of your order. Press each foot into the foam, close the box and send it back. Five minutes, no appointment; shipping is free both ways.
Your impression is checked the day it lands — that is the day your delivery clock starts. A technician contours arch, heel and forefoot to your foot; the shell is milled to that contour, finished and checked against your impression.
Under 10 business days from the day we receive your impression, tracked the whole way. Counted in business days from the day your impression arrives at our workshop. Slide them in, lace up, walk. 180 days to decide.

It should feel present, not like a lump — the contour comes from your own foot. Awareness in week one is normal; discomfort after two weeks is a fit issue and a remake is free.
Probably not. Painless flexible flat feet are a normal variant. Support earns its place when the arch, ankle or knee aches after long days or shoes wear out on the inside edge.
They overlap. Choose flat feet when the arch itself is low or aching; choose overpronation when the main complaint is the ankle rolling in and the inside of the knee. The quiz weighs both.
Your orthotics are shaped from an impression of your own feet, not a size chart, and the shell is set to your weight band. We confirm the length from the impression and trim the pair to the shoe type you told us about. If anything is off, a remake is free inside the 180-day guarantee.
A shelf insole is one of three or four shapes chosen to fit millions of feet; it cushions but it cannot hold a heel or contour an arch that isn't its own. A custom orthotic is shaped from an impression of your foot, so the heel cup, arch profile and forefoot relief are yours. If a shelf insole has already solved your problem, keep it — we say so in our guides.
Full-length designs fit sneakers, walking and running shoes, work boots and most lace-ups; remove the shoe's own insole and slide ours in, trimming along the guide if needed. The three-quarter design is for dress shoes and flats where there is no room for a full insole. Each pair is shaped for one shoe type, which is why a second pair for a different shoe is $139.
